Overview

Mark is a pioneer in intellectual property law and widely recognized as a leading authority on post-mortem publicity rights, now in his fifth decade of practice. As founder and CEO of Roesler Law, he has represented more than 300 iconic personalities—including James Dean, Jackie Robinson, Ella Fitzgerald, and Malcolm X—securing and enforcing image and licensing rights worldwide. He has led landmark legal victories, including cases against Warner Bros. and Major League Baseball, and was instrumental in drafting Indiana’s Right of Publicity Statute, one of the strongest in the United States.

Mark has also served as an expert witness in high-profile matters such as the O.J. Simpson civil trial and continues to shape the evolving legal landscape of celebrity IP in the digital era.
